The Past Four Years

In the past four years The Enlightened, as the invading army called themselves, had given humans some basic technologies for the improvement of agriculture and power supply while safely guarding the use of it to ensure it isn't abused.

After having been here for six months most of the riots had ended and The Enlightened Army began offering incentives to join their ranks, one of the biggest and greatest incentives was that your family, defined as spouse and children if married and brothers and sisters at home and parents if between eighteen and twenty three and unmarried, would be ascended to one of the many sky metropolis' in the air above the planet and would enjoy much more technology and ease of living then those on the surface, including greater education.

Life for those on earth had returned somewhat to normal after four years since The Return but with the incentives option open more and more were signing up, but why and for how long? That was not entirely known...
